Position Title: Child Nutrition Technician

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Child Nutrition Manager/Director

Qualifications

• Requires lifting a minimum of 40 lbs to include boxes, supplies, and heavy cooking pans.
• Ability to read and comprehend distinct policies, operating manuals, and reference materials.
• Ability to work around exposures related to job.
• Must not present a risk of injury to self or others.
• Must be able to perform tasks that require a repetitive motion with upper torso.

Essential Job Functions

• Cook, clean, and maintain assigned areas, keeping such areas in excellent condition.
• Preparation and serving of meals.
• Cleaning of all food areas, sweeping, and mopping.
• Storing of all supplies received.
• Keep dirty laundry washed and dried.
• Clean and sanitize restroom.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles.
• Follow all district safety procedures.

• Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be required to accomplish essential job functions as directed by the appropriate administrator(s).
