Job summary

Child Start is seeking a Food Server to prepare and store snacks and meals for children at our centers, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure meals meet health guidelines.

A high school diploma is required, with under one year of related experience; must lift up to 30 pounds and commute daily to Wichita, KS. The position pays $13.88 per hour for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• <12 months related experience or less is acceptable.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and store food for snacks and meals for children.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keep records of food deliveries, menus and meals served.
• Assist with meals and activities and ensure dietary needs are met.
