Job summary

Child Start Inc. seeks a Food Server in Wichita, KS to prepare and store foods for kids, while maintaining a clean kitchen and proper storage of items. You will document deliveries, menus, and meals to ensure CACFP and Health Department compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and less than 12 months related experience. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work full-time at the center.

• Less than 12 months related experience expected.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and store food for snacks and meals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment.
• Meet Health Department and CACFP guidelines.
• Keep records of food deliveries, menus, meals and snacks served.
• Assist with menu changes and substitutions as directed.
