Responsibilities

• Perform work in the Child Nutrition Program per regulations and procedures.
• Assist with basic food preparation and proper storage.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and prepare food per menu.
• Follow recipes accurately and maintain kitchen equipment knowledge.
• Prepare service lines for meal times and replenish items.
• Provide cordial, professional service while working with others.
• Maintain sanitary, safe conditions in compliance with regulations.
• Receive, transport and store food deliveries.
• Maintain personal grooming and appropriate attire for food service.
• Be regular and punctual in attendance and promote good public relations.
• Understand and comply with Dallas County Board of Education policies.
