Job summary

Clifford Beers Community Care Center (CBCCC) in New Haven, CT is seeking a licensed clinician to deliver relationship-based behavioral health services to infants, young children, and families. Services are primarily home- and community-based, with flexibility for evening hours to meet family needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health discipline and a state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline (LMSW if MSW).
• Minimum two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience providing behavioral health services preferred.
• Current Connecticut clinical license required, including one of the following: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D./Psy.D. if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Child First Care Coordinator and family to complete a comprehensive family assessment.
• Develop comprehensive clinical formulations and Plans of Care with the family and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide evidence-based, home-based mental health services utilizing the Child First model (CPP and other therapies).
• Support caregivers in understanding trauma history and parenting practices to strengthen attachment.
• Conduct developmental and mental health assessments and provide consultation in early childhood settings.
• Maintain compliant documentation and ensure timely billing and reimbursement.
