Clifford Beers Community Care Center (CBCCC) in New Haven, CT is seeking a Mental Health Support Staff to provide intensive home- and community-based behavioral health services for children aged 8–17 and their families.

You will work under the supervision of the IICAPS Clinician, implementing individualized goals, reinforcing safety plans, and collaborating with schools and community partners to promote stability in natural environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in behavioral health settings is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide intensive home-, school-, and community-based behavioral health support to children and adolescents ages 8–17 and their families enrolled in the IICAPS program.
• Implement and reinforce interventions and strategies identified in individualized treatment, crisis, and safety plans.
• Support children and adolescents in developing emotional regulation, coping, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Support caregivers in implementing treatment recommendations and strengthening caregiver–child relationships.
• Facilitate family interactions that promote communication, problem-solving, and shared understanding.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and assist families in accessing behavioral health, educational, medical, and social services.
