Job summary

Compass Health in Bellingham is seeking a Child & Family Therapist to provide clinical services to youth and families in their homes, communities, and offices. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to craft individualized, strength-based treatment plans and participate in after-hours crisis response as part of wraparound services.

Qualifications include MA/MS/MSW in a Behavioral Science field, MHP eligibility per WA codes, and a valid WA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• MA/MS/MSW in a Behavioral Science-related field.
• Meets qualifications as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per Washington Administrative Code.
• Eligible to apply as an Agency Affiliated Counselor if not licensed.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid WA State Driver’s License, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to youth and families using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to build individualized, creative, and strength-focused treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy in home, community, and office settings.
• Participate in the rotation of after-hours crisis response (initial assessment, risk evaluation, outreach).
• Receive specialized training in intensive mental health interventions upon hire.
