Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Child and Family Therapist in Bellingham, WA. The role provides individual and family therapy, case management, and crisis stabilization within the Behavioral Health Department, with community-based school assignments.

You will develop treatment plans, coordinate with primary care and psychiatric services, and provide referrals. The position offers supervision hours for licensure and mileage reimbursement for travel to rural schools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work; licensure required for practice.
• License or credential as LMFT/LMHC/LICSW/LASW.
• Child Mental Health Specialist credential or working towards it.
• Must meet WAC requirements for Mental Health Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or family therapy and case management.
• Lead crisis stabilization and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate with medication providers, primary physicians, and community partners.
• Perform suicide risk assessment and develop safety plans.
• Document clinical information and maintain confidentiality.
