What We're Looking For

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. We are looking for a Children's Clinician to support our children's outpatient therapy program to provide clinical assessment, individual, family, and group therapy, treatment, crisis planning, and support services to children and families in the clinic and community settings. Children's outpatient therapy strengthens family relationships to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community. The program provides services that are member-directed, goal-oriented, and family-focused.

Note

This position offers opportunities for remote flexibility upon successful completion of training/onboarding.

Compensation

The starting pay ranges from $47,600 - $56,000 for limited licensed candidates, and $51,850 - $61,000 for fully licensed candidates, based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Use evidence-based practices for therapy
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
  • Formulate and coordinate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with treatment teams and community partners
  • Assist families with referrals and accessing community resources
  • Coordinate care with schools, DHHS, and other agencies
  • Initiate psychiatric referrals when appropriate
  • Provide case management
  • Participate in case conferences and staff meetings
  • Maintain documentation and meet productivity standards
  • Apply trauma-informed approaches
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Qualifications
Required
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • State licensure (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT, TLLP, LLP)
  • Proficiency in computers and EHRs
  • Ability to work with individuals with mental/physical limitations
  • Cultural competence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Discretion and judgment
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
Preferred
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders
  • Experience in community mental health
