Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a full-time Skill Builder I for the Children's program in Delaware County, IN. The role provides case management and daily skills training to help patients and families progress toward developmental milestones and reduce psychosocial barriers.

The position supports the clinical team, assists in treatment planning, and maintains clinical records while promoting coordinated, whole-person care for children and adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years paid behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent coursework.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting Meridian policy and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to providing individual attention to help clients achieve well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Therapist in developing, implementing and revising individual treatment plans; monitor progress toward goals.
• For adults, provide individual and group skills training to reduce psychosocial barriers.
• For children, provide individual and group skills training to achieve developmental milestones.
• Provide case management services as identified in the patient’s treatment plan.
• Coordinate care with Therapist and medical staff for integrated care and communication.
• Prepare and maintain clinical records and forms; participate in continuing education.
