Union County, OH is seeking a dedicated social services professional to provide casework and management for children and families in need. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a human-services field or equivalent experience, with strong verbal and written communication and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities include interviews, court documentation, foster home studies, and collaboration with law enforcement as needed. On-call duties and ongoing training are required.

• Ability to document clearly and accurately.

Responsabilités

• Provides casework and case management to abused, neglected and dependent children and families.
• Evaluates needs and offers supportive services to children and families.
• Recommends actions and testifies on behalf of children as needed.
• Maintains agency records and prepares court documents.
• Performs APS assessments as assigned.
• Conducts interviews with children, parents, and community members.
• Provides referrals to law enforcement when necessary.
• Ensures safety of children and reassesses ongoing safety.
• Arranges and supervises visitation between children and guardians.
• Prepares children for adoption when appropriate.
• Completes home studies and recruits foster parents.
• Compiles reports such as Case Plans and Safety Assessments.
• Participates in on-call duties and mandatory trainings.
