Job summary

New Vista KY is seeking a KEIS Service Coordinator for the First Steps Program to support families with developmental delays. You will coordinate referrals, conduct intake visits, and connect families to early intervention services while documenting progress in the TOTS system.

The role emphasizes advocacy, collaboration with schools and providers, and travel across seven counties to support family outcomes and service integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Preferred: degree in human services plus two years of experience with young children and families, plus skills in communication, problem-solving, organization, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the 7 counties in the Louisville District.
• Complete intake visits and referrals for eligibility and services.
• Facilitate IFSP meetings and develop transition plans for post-First Steps.
• Enter service notes and reports into the TOTS online data system.
• Monitor plans to ensure compliance by state contractors and providers.
• Assist families in locating community resources beyond First Steps.
