Job summary

UCFS Healthcare is seeking a Child First Clinician II to provide intensive, home-based intervention for children from prenatal through age five and their caregivers. You will strengthen caregiver-child relationships, facilitate play, and reflect on child behaviors within a trauma-informed framework.

The role partners with a Care Coordinator to support families, travels to New London, Windham, and Middlesex counties, and may include weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field (M.A., M.S.W., MFT) or equivalent.
• Three years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, developmental and behavioral difficulties in young children and families.
• Formulate treatment plans and conduct plan reviews based on assessments.
• Engage in the Child First learning collaborative and related trainings.
• Collaborate with care coordinators and community partners to support families.
• Respond to client crises during work hours and on-call.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and timely data entry to meet funder requirements.
