Job summary

UCFS Healthcare seeks a Child First Clinician I to deliver intensive, home-based interventions for children from prenatal to age five and their caregivers. The role emphasizes strengthening caregiver-child relationships, reflective practice, and trauma-informed care.

Position requires travel (~75%) with some remote time (≈25%), full-time schedule (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri), and occasional weekend coverage. Requires CT licensure eligibility and bilingual Spanish capability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field (e.g., M.A., M.F.T., M.S.W.).
• At least one year of clinical experience present.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, developmental and behavioral difficulties in young children and families based on clinical standards of practice.
• Formulate treatment plans and plan reviews.
• Engage in Child First learning collaboratives and trainings.
• Collaborate with providers and community partners to support treatment.
• Respond to client crises during work hours and on-call.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and ensure timely data entry.
