Job summary

Little City Foundation in Palatine, IL seeks a qualified caseworker to support children in the residential program. You will manage a caseload, conduct regular visits, document progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure appropriate services and treatment plans.

Responsibilities include attending IEPs, developing and updating Individual Treatment Plans, coordinating with DCFS and school personnel, and supporting family engagement while adhering to licensing standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree meeting federal standards to serve as a QIDP.
• At least one year of direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid IL driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of children in residential homes.
• Conducts weekly visits to ensure services and care progress.
• Secures documentation, compiles history, and assesses caseload.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on Mental Health Assessments and Plans.
• Attends IEPs and advocates for children in school systems.
• Maintains child files and ensures required documentation.
• Ensures licensing standards and safety policies are followed.
