Summary of Job Duties: Kids First Pine Bluff is seeking a Child Development Technician who loves children and wants to help them grow while learning. The role involves providing care and intervention to children aged birth to 5 with developmental delays and medical needs in a pediatric day healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED plus six months experience working with children, or an equivalent education such as CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Must pass state abuse registry checks, drug screen, TB test, and immunizations or provide proof of immunizations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify educational and developmental needs of children
• Ability to establish positive relationships with parents, staff, and professionals
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum

Responsibilities include providing quality direct care, behavioral guidance, following treatment plans, and creating engaging learning environments.

Physical activity levels involved: constant, frequent, and occasional activities such as climbing, crawling, standing, talking, and sitting.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
