Job summary

Volunteers of America is seeking a Children’s Referral Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN to support children and families across programs. Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related human services field.
• 1-3 years of experience in child development or early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Children's Service's Director as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct screenings of children within services and train staff in child development and early childhood education.
• Refer client services to community partners and provide parenting skills training.
• Facilitate relationships among stakeholders, including organization members and community partners.
• Maintain accurate records to meet agency, DCS, CARF, DMHA, and billing standards.
