XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness is hiring a Child Center Team Member to engage children aged 1 to 11 in safe, fun activities within the Child Activity Center. You will greet members, organize interactive activities, and supervise play in a welcoming environment.

The role requires First Aid certification within 60 days, CPR/AED for Infant/Child and Adult, availability evenings/weekends/holidays, and completion of state or federal requirements before first day.

Child Center Team Member

Position Summary

A Child Center Team Member provides exceptional fitness-minded children's engagement. Organizes and implements safe, fun, engaging and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of 1 to 11 years in the Child Activity Center.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games in the Child Activity Center.
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, equipment, other children, and surroundings.
• Maintains the Child Activity Center by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
• Promotes and XCAL programs, products and services.

Position Requirements

• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed).

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.
