Job summary

City of Roseville (CA) is seeking a Child Care Program Leader to support planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and preschool programs within the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. This is a temporary, part‑time role limited to 30 hours per week with a 1,500 hour annual cap, requiring evening and weekend availability.

The position runs year‑round with a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years teaching in a licensed day care center or comparable group child care program or related education experience.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience with an Associate’s degree or 60 semester units including admin or early childhood units; two years of related work may substitute for degree.
• One (1) year of teaching experience; a Bachelor’s degree including admin/staff relations and/or early child-care education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising Child Care and preschool programs.
• Work a year‑round, part‑time schedule up to 30 hours per week (max 1,500 hours per fiscal year).
• Evening and weekend availability required; schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–6:15 PM.
