Job summary

City of Roseville, CA's Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department is seeking a temporary, part-time Child Care Program Leader to assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and preschool programs.

This year-round position is limited to 30 hours per week with an evening and weekend schedule; hours are Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM. The role requires extensive experience and educational credentials described in the posting.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years teaching in a licensed day care center or comparable group child care program.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience in a licensed day care center or comparable program; elementary/middle school education experience.
• Associate’s degree or 60 semester units including 18 major and 21 general education units; 3 units in admin or staff relations and/or early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and/or preschool programs.
• Support implementation of year-round activities and program schedules; ensure evening and weekend availability as required.
