Job summary

The City of Roseville is hiring a Child Care Program Assistant to support planning, coordination, and supervision of child care and preschool programs. This year-round, part-time role requires evening and weekend availability and offers opportunities within the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department.

Applicants should have two seasons of paid childcare or recreation program experience, a high school diploma or GED with additional early childhood education units, and CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• Two seasons of paid experience in a childcare program or coordinating recreation programs.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, GED, or higher with twelve units in early childhood education or related field.
• Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and/or preschool programs.
• Work with Parks, Recreation & Libraries staff to support program operations.
• Provide evening and weekend coverage as required.
