SCO Family of Services is currently seeking Child Care Workers to join our team in our Community Residence in Deer Park! Child Care workers assist and supervise youth (ages 12-21) and perform all duties necessary to promote the overall wellbeing of the youth in our program.

As a Child Care Worker, you will:

• Assist with ADL routines including house chores, room chores, wake-ups, lights-out, laundry, cooking, etc.
• Supervise individual and group activities such as trips, sporting events, crafts, etc.
• Uphold all elements of behavior management systems, including restriction systems, negotiations, and confrontation techniques.
• Attend to educational, vocational, health, and mental health needs.
• Model positive behavior at all times while addressing negative behavior.
• Support the mission of creating a safe, orderly, and caring environment.

Ideal candidates must possess:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children or adolescents (preferred)
• A strong belief in others' ability to grow and change

Valid driver’s license required.
