Expand Energy Child Development Center is located at

6100 N Francis Ave

Oklahoma City, OK 73118

Center Operational Hours: 6:30am - 6:00pm

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
  4. Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  2. Have 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred)
  3. Hold a CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field (preferred)
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies, ensuring children's safety and well-being.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $14.40 to $19.55. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and organizational factors.
