Job summary

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Retail Lead Salesperson to open and close stores at Snow Park Lodge, Silver Lake Lodge, and Main Street in Park City. You will manage inventory, assist guests with product knowledge, and coordinate daily store operations to ensure a premier shopping experience.

The role requires prior sales experience in apparel or related items, ability to work daytime/evenings/weekends, and physical stamina for lifting 25–30 lbs. Seasonal, with competitive wages and staff perks.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: verify deliveries and maintain accurate counts.

Purpose of Position

A Retail Lead Salesperson is the operational point person responsible for opening and closing the store, the delegation of daily operational tasks, inventory management, sales and guest support. Store locations include Snow Park Lodge, Silver Lake Lodge, and on Main Street in downtown Park City. Applicant may be considered for any retail location based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management

  Receive and process daily incoming merchandise deliveries by verifying quantities against shipment documentation and ensuring all merchandise is properly accounted for Identify and communicate shipment discrepancies, shortages, overages, damages, or receiving errors to maintain accurate inventory

• Transfer merchandise between store locations for special guest requests and stock balance
• Sales and Checkout

  Complete all credit card and gift card sales in a timely manner

• Store Maintenance and Operations

  Open and close the store according to operational guidelines Delegate daily operational tasks to team members (Restocking, cleaning, dusting, store and merchandise presentation, etc.) Receive, stock, and display merchandise in alignment with retail merchandising team and visual standards on a daily basis Put away overstock in onsite and offsite storage rooms once the sales floor is adequately replenished Maintain store visual and cleanliness standards throughout shift, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for all guests

• Guest Relations and Service

  Provide exceptional guest service by addressing guest needs and suggesting products Maintain basic knowledge of general information about Deer Valley ski resort and be capable of directing guests and answering their questions Participate in Retail Pop-Up Events including outdoor tent activations Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and during peak holiday seasons
• Must be able to work a minimum of four to five days per week
• Previous sales experience and knowledge of apparel and/or eyewear preferred
• Ability to lift and/or carry between 25-30 lbs
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk up and down staircases, carry boxes, products, and other store related items
• Ability to work independently and with a team of associates in a positive and productive manner
• Ability to climb a ladder when needed

PAY RATE

$22.00 per hour
