Job summary

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Seasonal Retail Hardgoods Salesperson for the Snow Park Lodge location. You will sell apparel, gifts, technical gear, and ski hardgoods, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for guests.

The role requires experience in ski boot fitting, strong sales and guest-service skills, and the ability to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly pay and perks are offered, with a focus on team collaboration and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with custom ski boot fitting and custom footbed creation.
• Previous sales experience and knowledge of apparel, gloves, eyewear, and ski hardgoods preferred.
• Must be able to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and during peak holiday seasons.
• Ability to lift and/or carry between 25-30 lbs
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb a ladder when needed
• Ability to work independently and with a team of associates in a positive and productive manner

Responsibilities

• Complete all credit card and gift card sales in a timely manner
• Open and close the store according to operational guidelines
• Receive, stock, and display merchandise in alignment with retail merchandising and visual standards on a daily basis
• Put away overstock in onsite and offsite storage rooms once the sales floor is adequately replenished
• Maintain store visual and cleanliness standards throughout shift, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for all guests
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing guest needs and suggesting products
• Maintain basic knowledge of general information about Deer Valley ski resort and be capable of directing guests and answering their questions
• Participate in Retail Pop-Up Events including outdoor tent activations
• Other duties as assigned
