Job summary

Primrose School Franchising SPE, LLC's Primrose School of Schertz is hiring full-time teachers. We support classrooms with two to three teachers per group, Monday–Friday, with no weekends. Starting pay is $13.25 per hour, with increases based on experience and education.

Paid training and meals provided; overtime may be available. This role emphasizes child safety, development, and a warm, stimulating environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs during activities and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers to maintain a safe, caring classroom.
• Support two-to-three teacher ratios per room for continuity.
• Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule; no weekends.
• Contribute to planning and training activities.

We are seeking several enthusiastic teachers at Primrose School of Schertz located at 4993 Schertz Pkwy, Schertz Tx 78154 .

We are currently hiring one full time staff!

Our Teacher to Student Ratio aligns with our National and State Accreditation Requirements. We assign two or three teachers per classroom to ensure continuity of care and consistency for your daily break, planning time, and when staff take PTO. Overtime is available for staff who stay to help cover a classroom when a teacher is out.

Infants: 2:8
Toddlers: 2:12
Two's: 2:16

Desired skills and experience:

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
