Primrose School of Schertz located at 4993 Schertz Pkwy, Schertz, TX 78154 is hiring a part-time Closing Shift Teacher to support classrooms after the end of the day. You will work Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts, and help maintain a safe, structured environment for young learners.

The role requires meeting local child care regulations, prior teaching or assistant teaching in a licensed program, knowledge of social, emotional, and creative development, and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in handling children; for Infant/Young Toddler, lift infants into/out of a crib.

Our Teacher to Student Ratio aligns with our National and State Accreditation Requirements.

Infants: 2:8

Toddlers: 2:12

Two's: 2:16

Three's: 2:26

Four's: 2:26

School Age: 2:26

Desired skills and experience:

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
