Job summary

The Learning Experience in California seeks qualified teachers to join our daycare and private preschool team. Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in a safe, nurturing classroom, delivering the LEAP Curriculum across infants to preschool.

You will communicate with parents, support enrollment goals, and contribute to a dynamic learning environment where play and discovery happen daily. State guidelines apply; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state guidelines for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model; use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum across infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s adventures and achievements via apps and discussions.
• Support center success; partner with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers in a dynamic play-and-learn environment.

• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred
• High school diploma/GED + 12 ECE College credits required. Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aide certification preferred
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
