Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring Teachers for our Toddler and Two-Year-Old classrooms in Thousand Oaks. Join a team dedicated to growth, development, and high-quality early education in a nurturing setting.

Lead, mentor, and collaborate with co-teachers while implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Engage families through updates and family discussions within a supportive center culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED with 12 ECE college credits required.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for overall classroom management, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children as appropriate.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing children’s adventures and achievements via apps and discussions.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement with staff and leadership.
• Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
