Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring teachers to lead classrooms and mentor co-teachers while delivering the LEAP Curriculum® to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will create a safe, nurturing environment that supports play and learning and regularly communicate progress to families through apps and discussions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED plus 12 ECE college credits required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Oversee classroom management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model with a growth mindset to develop young minds.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum®, working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children’s adventures and milestones.
• Support center success by partnering with staff and leadership to boost enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning community.

• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
