Job summary

The Learning Experience - Newbury Park, CA is hiring qualified teachers to join our early childhood education community. You will lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment using our LEAP Curriculum.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 12 ECE college credits; an associate degree or higher in ECE preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred; state guidelines must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children while accommodating each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing children’s latest adventures through various channels.
• Support center success by partnering with staff to meet enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred
• High school diploma/GED + 12 ECE College credits required. Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aide certification preferred
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
