Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and twos at Bright Horizons at University City, located near the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), on Civic Center Blvd.

Responsibilities:

1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• 5 years teaching experience in a group child care setting, willingness to obtain CDA
• or BA/AA in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services
• or CDA with one year experience in group child care
• or a bachelor's degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 1 year of experience
• or an associate's degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 2 years of experience
• or an associate's degree with 3 years of experience in early childhood education
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the Flu to comply with health protocols

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with health and safety protocols, working in person at our center, and providing supervision and care in accordance with policies and regulations. Compensation:

The starting hourly rate is between $17.50 - $21.35, depending on experience, education, and other factors.
