Job description

Part-time position available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED (Required)
  • Twelve units in Child Development, including core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, Curriculum, and Principles and Practices (Required)
  • Three units in Infant and Toddler Development (Preferred/Optional)
  • AA/BA in Early Childhood Education (Preferred)
  • Transcripts required at interview

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person at an early education/preschool center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery to ensure children's safety and well-being in accordance with policies and legal requirements. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $21.75 to $26.55. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
