Responsibilities:

1. Create hands-on activities tailored to children’s needs and interests.

3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• Required: Twelve semester units in Child Development, including core courses.
• Required for Infant and Toddler positions: Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development.
• Preferred: AA/BA in Early Childhood Education.
• Transcripts required at hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with health and safety regulations, including immunizations and physical screenings. The employee will work in person at an early education center, ensuring children’s safety and well-being.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $21.75 to $26.55, depending on experience, education, and other factors.
