Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Easton, MA seeks a Childcare Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom where children thrive. You will plan age-appropriate activities, lead daily lessons, and be a positive role model.

CPR/First Aid and EEC Teacher Certification are required, with training available for certifications and exams. We offer competitive salaries, a full benefits package, paid training, flexible hours, and a free YMCA membership to staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21 or HS diploma/equivalent and EEC education/experience requirements.
• EEC Teacher Certification is required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications; willing to train.
• Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
• Passion for helping children learn, grow and have fun.

What You’ll Do

As a Childcare Teacher, you’ll help create a classroom where children feel safe, supported, engaged, and excited to learn.

Schedule

Full-Time | Min. 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Shifts range between 6:45 AM and 5:30 PM.

You’ll Need

What We’re Looking For

• To be at least 21 years old, OR have a high school diploma/equivalent and meet EEC education and experience requirements for a Teacher.
• EEC Teacher Certification

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications- willing to train

• Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun!

Requirements

Full time positions are hourly 35- 40 hours weekly M-F shifts range between 6:45 am and 5:30 pm.
