Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an experienced education professional for the 2026-2027 school year, offering $17.50-$18.50 per hour. The role requires a degree in education or human services and at least 2 years (2500 hours) of verified child care experience, with a passion for nurturing children in a fun, diverse environment.

You will plan curriculum, observe development, maintain records, and collaborate with families and staff to support children's growth and learning.

Qualificações

• Degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field.
• 2+ years verified child care experience (2500 hours).
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances and keep up to date on trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn, while maintaining environments that build self-esteem.
• Plan and implement curriculum for program with child-centered, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Conduct and record weekly child observations and address any development concerns with parents/guardians.
• Communicate effectively and confidentially with parents/guardians about children's progress.
• Maintain attendance records, emergency contact binders, allergy reports and related paperwork.
• Ensure centers are stocked with learning materials and organized learning centers.
• Attend team-planning meetings monthly or more as needed.
• Campaign for the Annual Campaign and develop donors and volunteers.
• Supervise all staff on site.
