Job summary

University of Idaho is seeking a Child Care Resource Specialist in Region 5 (IdahoSTARS) to support childcare professionals with licensing, ICCP, and business practices. The role works within a regional team to coordinate services and referrals for providers in Twin Falls.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service experience, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and excellent communication while maintaining client confidentiality. Requires travel and non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer support experience.
• Ability to manage a workload across multiple projects.
• Proficient with email, scheduling, word processing, data entry and general computer use.
• Ability to communicate effectively and protect client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Site visits for Idaho Child Care Orientation.
• Provide business practice support to childcare professionals.
• Assist with licensing compliance.
• Support ICCP compliance.
• Make childcare referrals as needed.
• Offer community and family resource support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
