Job summary

The University of Idaho seeks an IdahoSTARS Quality Child Care Consultant (Region 4) to coach, mentor, and train child care educators across Boise area. The role partners with providers to implement evidence-based practices and supports QRIS/ICCP participation.

Requires 3+ years in early care and education, experience in adult training, and travel. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with salary based on experience, starting around $22.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Three years in early care and education
• Experience conducting adult workshops
• Ability to travel between locations for program support
• Ability to work nonstandard hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor child care educators to implement evidence-based practices
• Deliver adult workshops and trainings for groups of varying sizes
• Guide educators through reflective progress and goal-focused outcomes
• Recruit and orient educators for participation in IdahoSTARS PD and QRIS programs
