Responsible for no more than four (4) infants/toddlers at a given time; however, this may require the supervision of children not directly assigned to the Child Care Provider.Supervise volunteer workers in the classroom.Inform Center Administrator or Assistant Center Administrator of staffing needs and changes immediately.Provide constant and continuous supervision of children by sight and hearing daily during all activities both indoor and outdoor, including sleeping/toileting areas.Organize and setup learning centers within demonstration classroom at the beginning of each school year. Infant environments should be adjusted as children grow and develop into toddlers.Screen and assess each assigned child according to prescribed schedule using agency-defined assessment instrument within the first forty-five (45) calendar days of enrollment.Maintain up-to-date record-keeping system in accordance with Record Keeping and Reporting Management System. Manually record results, and give to Clerk for entry into Child Plus Tracking System according to prescribed schedule.A minimum educational requirement of Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or arelated area that includes a minimum of six (6) classes focusing on infant/toddler development.Two years experience in preschool classroom with ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of all childrenincluding at-risk, special needs, gifted, and culturally diverse populations.Oral and written communication skills which facilitate and support positive feedback from parents and between staff at all operational levels.
