Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer experience in child care or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and implements a program of activities and lesson plans for a group of children.
• Maintains attendance records for a designated group of children and adheres to schedules.
• Assists in food preparation and distribution.
• Establishes and maintains control and safety of an assigned group of children.
• Serves as an effective role model and interacts to support child learning.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude with parents, children and staff at all times.
• Participates in parent contact and communication as assigned.
