Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is a nonprofit dedicated to early education and family support across Oregon. This role maintains child/teacher ratios by supervising meals and breaks to keep staff in classrooms when needed.

You will assist with activities, safety, record-keeping, playground supervision, and with bus/home preparation, contributing to a healthy, engaging environment for young learners in Head Start programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year experience with young children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain child/teacher ratios by supervising meals and breaks.
• Assist with activities and safety in the classroom.
• Support record keeping and classroom maintenance as assigned.
• Supervise playgrounds and accompany children during transitions.
• Participate in mealtime, story time, and other activities with children.
