Job summary

The Houston-Galveston Area Council is seeking a Program Coordinator – Performance & Data Support to provide operational and analytical support for Child Care Operations by collecting, validating, organizing, and maintaining program data used to monitor performance, measure outcomes, and support strategic decision‑making.

Working with the Senior Program Coordinator – Performance & Data Analytics, this role prepares reports, tracks KPIs, and assists with data analyses to improve program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field required.
• 5 years of experience with local government, nonprofit programs, or related duties preferred.
• Experience managing grants, public funds, or regulatory compliance programs highly valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and data management systems.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate regulatory requirements clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, organize, and maintain program data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze operational, fiscal, compliance, and program data to identify trends and support reporting.
• Perform quality assurance by identifying data discrepancies and recommending corrections.
• Monitor KPIs and reporting schedules; prepare routine and ad-hoc reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement by documenting processes and recommending efficiencies.
