Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Quincy, MA is seeking a Certified Pre-K Teacher to join our dedicated early learning team. You will work with teachers and families to provide a nurturing home away from home for children, following NAEYC guidelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing programs in multiple classrooms, mentoring teachers, and developing developmentally appropriate curricula. We offer a competitive wage scale of $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• CDA credential or MA Teacher certification acceptable per MA requirements.
• 2+ years of experience in licensed child care preferred.
• Meet state criteria for child care employment.
• Strong customer service skills.

What will you be doing?

As a Certified Pre-K Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR EEC State of MA Teacher certification required
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
