Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Maynard, MA is seeking a Certified Teacher to provide a nurturing home-like learning environment aligned with NAEYC standards. You will collaborate with families and staff to support children's development and well-being.

You will oversee classroom activities, mentor fellow teachers, and craft developmentally appropriate curricula, partnering with families on individual plans. Excellent communication with caregivers is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR CDA credential OR MA Teacher certification required.
• 2+ years of licensed child care experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers within our centers.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $21.00- $30.00

*Sign On Bonus for Certified Teachers- $1,500 paid out in three installments (90days, 180 days, 360 days)*

What will you be doing?

As a Certified Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR EEC State of MA Teacher certification required
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
