Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC is seeking an Child Care Assistant Director in the Charlestown, MA area to support the Center Director in daily operations, curriculum delivery, and staff mentoring.

You will foster a welcoming center environment, ensure quality programming, and build strong relationships with families while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in early childhood education, education, or child development field required.
• MA Teaching Certification and Director I certification required; Director II preferred.
• At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality childcare settings.
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, culture, and values to foster an inclusive environment and strong relationships with families, staff, and clients.
• Monitor program quality and ensure children's learning is documented and visible.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead operations, mentor teachers, and support families in a busy early education center.
