La Petite Academy in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, ensuring growth and well-being for children and families in our center.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director oversees the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• Supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Promotes a positive, collaborative workplace with staff and families.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
