Job summary

Sibley East Community Education is seeking a Child Care Aide to support the after-school program for children aged 3-12. You will work with the Child Care Coordinator to foster a stimulating, developmentally appropriate environment that promotes social growth and self-esteem after school hours.

Shifts run from 6-8:30 am or 3-6 pm. This part-time position requires reliability, a background check, and may include training provided by the program.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Current first aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable attendance is required.
• All additional trainings will be provided.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• A Child Care Aide works with the Child Care Coordinator to facilitate a stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment which promotes social growth and self-esteem after school hours.
• Assist with daily activities, support program routines, and maintain a safe, structured environment for children.
