Job Description

The mission of Auburn's Before & After School Childcare Program is to meet the broad social, academic and physical needs of students in a before and after school setting, in a collaborative way. This occurs through positive adult-child interactions and opportunities for cooperation, academic time and creative play. The centers are located at three of our elementary schools: Fairview, Park Avenue and Sherwood Heights.

Minimum Qualifications

• High energy
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
• A strong understanding of child development
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED (or in high school)
• CPR & First Aid certification (will pay for)
• Must clear full background check

Job Requirements

• Department of Education and DHHS Fingerprinting
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
• CHRC completed prior to beginning work; $70 fee; fingerprints required
