Summary

We are looking for a part time Child Care Aide. If you are energetic, imaginative, and excited to work with children...this is the place for you!

Minimum Qualifications

ECE degree/classes and/or experience in child care desirable but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizing activities with the children in accordance with the curriculum as prepared by the Head Teacher.
• Prepare materials for the Teacher for planned activities.
• Diapering and potty training as necessary.
• Aide Teacher in cleaning classroom.
• Other duties as assigned which may include but are not limited to: a) Cleaning. up CDC kitchen and b) Organizing CDC kitchen and supplies.

Requirements prior to employment

• All employees who are 18 years of age and older are required to submit fingerprints to local and federal repositories for background checks prior to start date. APPLICANT COST: $8 for one fingerprint card payable to Carson City Sheriff's Dept.

Requirements for the duration of employment

• Employees must take the State of Nevada required initial training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Employees must take annual hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related subjects every licensing year of employment.
