Job Description
CareLuLu is seeking a Child Care Advisor in the Washington DC metro area! You'll have full ownership of your work, and a direct positive impact on child care businesses. You'll also be able to improve the quality of care for local families! We're a small team with no office politics or hierarchy. Here, a positive "get-it-done" attitude is valued and rewarded.
Much of your time will be spent visiting child care providers. You will act mainly as a coach, offering guidance to help providers improve the quality of their program and become successful. You'll perform unannounced visits on site to ensure quality & safety, enforce partnership rules, and help ensure that State / County child care licensing regulations are met.
This will not be an easy role, especially when providers don't follow licensing regulations or partnership rules. You must be able to keep your cool and stand your ground, all while remaining courteous, professional, and keeping a positive attitude. To succeed, you'll need perseverance, grit and exceptional social & communication skills.
What you'll be doing
coach caregivers and teachers to help them be more successful and improve their early education program.

We're a small team with a big mission to help improve access to safe, affordable, quality child care and early education. You'll work in a collaborative setting, directly with the executive team. Benefits include competitive pay and a flexible environment (when not visiting facilities, you'll work from home and have flexibility / autonomy on hours.) This can be a part-time role, so candidates can shape their work schedule, and enjoy their free time with their children, family, or other part-time work.
